Tanu Weds Manu - a romantic comedy film!

Manmadhan AMBU is a romantic comedy releasing on Christmas 2010

The film revolves around Gopal (Madhavan) is madly in love with an actress Ambujam (Trisha). But he is really worried whether she has any soft corner for him. To clear his doubts, he appoints a best detective in town (played by Kamal Haasan).

Ambujam is now on a cruise for film's shooting and the spy follows her up as on assignment and both get acquainted. Sooner, the spy's love (Sangeetha) mistakes their relationship which resulted in unexpected confusions. Now it's up to Gopal to clear up the problems that is followed by a happy ending.

Suriya will be playing a cameo role and it looks he may shake legs with Trisha for a song. 'Kalavani' fame Oviya, Ramesh Aravind, playback singer Usha Utap and few others will playing important roles in this romantic travelogue.

On November 19, Kamal Haasan's Manmadhan Ambu audio launch spread over two days in a cruise ship and at Singapore Expo, Max Pavilion will be telecast on the channel. It has got television industry watchers by surprise.

The music for this romantic comedy has been scored by none other than the effervescent music director Devi Sri Prasad. The movie has six songs; of which two have been sung by Kamal Haasan himself.

Manmadhan Ambu songs will be Released November 20.

‘Manmadhan Ambu’ Release on December 10, 2010

The buzz around the next big film of the year, Kamal Haasan's 'Manmadhan Ambu' has started. According to latest news available the audio of 'Mamnadhan Ambu' is scheduled to be released on October 27.

The film was expected to hit the theaters for Diwali and now the new release date has been announced as December 10.

'Mamadhan Ambu' starring Kamal, Madhavan, Trisha and Sangeetha is a situational comedy. In the film, Kamal Haasan plays a private detective hired by Madhavan to go after his love Trisha to confirm her sincerity. The film was mostly shot in Europe and that is going to be a treat.

Directed KS Ravikumar who is a master craftsman has ensured that this comic caper also make it to the top like all his other classic comedies with Kamal like Thenali, Panchathanthiram etc.

Madhavan will be playing a villain role..

Director Lingusamy after the huge success of 'Paiyaa' will be directing his next movie titled 'Vettai' with Arya and Tamannah playing the lead role.

It was said that Madhavan would be a part of Vettai, playing the character of Arya's brother, but later rumours were rife that Madhavan had backed out of Vettai.

Now sources confirm that Madhavan is indeed a part of the Vettai cast. Another interesting buzz is that Madhavan will be playing a negative role in the movie. Maddy has earlier done the negative shaded role in 'Aayutha Ezhuthu', directed by Mani Ratnam.

If Mani Ratnam has a style, Lingusamy has a different style. So it will be interesting to see know Lingusamy has pitted Madhavan against Arya.

Vettai has also got one of the best technical crew. Music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, editing part is handled by Anthony and camera will be focused by Nirav Shah.

With Linguswamy's Paiyaa making profitable business with Cloud Nine movies. Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine movies will be taking care of the production and distribution part of Vettai.

Maddy in small screen..

Actor Madhavan's realms is small screens isn't something new as it dates back to his initial days in media. He had already hosted couple of game shows in small screens, which were acclaimed to the extremum. 'Tol Mol Ke Bol' and 'Deal Ya No Deal'.

Sooner as the actor got through hectic schedules in film industry, he had kept himself away from TV shows. Recently, Madhavan signed an innovative game show titled 'Big Money', which again completes his hat-trick spell.

According to Maddy, the actor has finds himself more straining with this game as it involves lots of potentials. Interaction with the entire family of contestants happens to be the most difficult thing to carry about. Despites such hard factors, Maddy admits that he had to withstand the constraints and keep up the energy throughout the show.

The first season has been completed now and the program producers are planning for next season by next 3 months.

Kamal Haasan's 'Manmadhan Ambu' status 75% completed

Kamal Haasan seems to be invigorated and more enthusiastic about his project. The Padmashree is now spotted with never-seen before electrification. The actor kick-started shooting for 'Manmadhan Ambu' before 3 months and has now almost completed 75%.

The entire crew has now flown down to Kodaikanal for the shooting of second schedule as planned earlier.

The film boasts of certain technical vistas that involves on-the-spot dubbing. Such innovative concepts are commonly found in Hollywood movies and for the first time have been applied in Tamil cinema.

Recently, couple of songs tuned by Devi Sri Prasad was shot at indoor studios of Chennai.

Madhavan says that adapting a novel is very difficult

Madhavan said that it is very difficult to make a novel into a film. The film Three Idiots in which Madhavan acted is also based on a novel written by Chetan Bhagat. Madhavan while speaking said," It is very difficult to adapt a novel into a film fully.

It would be better to take the crux of the novel and write the screenplay. The film Three Idiots is totally different from the novel. Many are asking me whether I read novels.

When I was studying I used to read a lot. But now there is no time for it. Because most of the time I spend in planes. I will be going to European countries for 48 days to act in the film Manmadha Ambu with Kamal.The Hindi film Tanu weds Manu has been completed. Since I am acting in Tamil and Hindi, I am known to all people in the country. I am really happy about this."

'Yavarum Kelir' has now got one more highlight. The Kamal Haasan starrer directed by K S Ravikumar and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin for Red Giant Movies will have Madhavan in a key role.
A full-length comedy film, 'Yavarum Kelir' brings together Kamal Haasan and Madhavan after 'Anbe Sivam'. Madhavan, who is busy in Bollywood with back to back releases, is coming to Tamil again with this movie, after 'Guru En Aalu'.
Trisha plays the heroine. It is said another top actress will also be roped in for the mega-budget venture which will go on floors by April and hit screens tentatively for Deepavali. "Madhavan's role will be a memorable one," sources say.
They add Madhavan accepted to do this multi-starrer as he is comfortable with such ventures thanks to Bollywood. "The actor found his character interesting and immediately gave his nod," sources maintain.
